Main uses: Pr can be used as catalyst in petrochemical industry. Praseodymium, as a rare earth element with large dosage, is mostly used in the form of mixed rare earth elements, such as purifying and deteriorating agents for metal materials, chemical catalysts, agricultural rare earth and so on. The activity, selectivity and stability of petroleum cracking catalyst can be improved by adding Pr and Nd concentrate into Y zeolite molecular sieve. As an additive for plastics modification, the wear resistance of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) can be obviously improved by adding Pd and Nd concentrate into PTFE.
